Shortly before I left Buenos Aires I took a day trip to Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay. The fairy from B.A. only takes two hours to get there. Colonia has a beautiful historic centre. Of course it is overrun by tourists and the only thing you will find there nowadays are restaurants and other stuff for tourists. But hey, it’s still beautiful.

During the ferry ride I got to know a beautiful young model called Nina. She was showing around her mother and a friend. We walked around town together and I really enjoyed their company even if it just was for a short time.

At one point I found myself surrounded by a group of school children who were rapidly shouting questions at me in Spanish. Who I was, where I was coming from (of course they got confused with Austria/Australia) and so on. Not even their teacher could calm them down and they stuck with me till I left.

All in all a great day.
